Winner of the organ competitions of Dublin and Freiberg, he is, as a harpsichordist, an outstanding representative of his generation. After studies in Copenhagen and Lübeck, he now lives in Vienna and has overseen numerous opera productions (e.g. in Salzburg, Salamanca, Schwetzingen, Bilbao and Israel) both on continuo and as coach.
