Linde Brunmayr-Tutz

Linde Brunmayr-Tutz, born in Salzburg, studied Recorder and Medicine in Innsbruck as well as Traverso with Hans-Martin Linde at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and with Barthold Kuijken at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. She is a frequent soloist with leading baroque ensembles and played with baroque orchestras such as Bach Collegium Japan, Freiburger Barockorchester, Balthasar Neumann Ensemble, Wiener Akademie, Ensemble "Ad Fontes" Wintherthur, Capella Reial de Catalunya (Jordi Savall) and Frans Bruggens Orchestra of the 18th Century. She is professor for traverso at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen, Germany, since 1991 where she also took an important part in building up the Early Music Institute. She was artistic director of the International Summer Academy for Early Music in Innsbruck from 1996 to 2004 and received the Tyrolean Jakob Stainer prize form particular service to early music. Together with Lars Ulrik Mortensen she recorded the flute sonatas by J.S.Bach and received the Diapason d´or.
