Martina Schobersberger

Martina Schobersberger completed her studies for organ, harpsichord and historical performance practice at the music universities in Linz (A), Trossingen (D) and the renowned Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (CH). Her teachers included August Humer, Andrea Marcon and Jean-Claude Zehnder.
As a member of the Austrian Baroque Company, the Schwanthaler Trompetenconsort on period
instruments as well as a guest in various chamber music formations and renowned orchestras, she can refer to an intensive international concert activity as a soloist and ensemble musician and is regularly invited to master classes in early music. Her career also includes research into the performance practice of medieval music for organetto (portative organ).
Various radio and television recordings as well as numerous CD recordings on labels such as Sony Music, ORF Edition Alte Musik, Claves records, fra bernardo and an organ solo CD on two historic organs from the Renaissance and Baroque periods in Upper Austria document her artistic activity.
Together with Michael Oman, she founded the Eferdinger Schlosskonzerte and works as project manager for the Austrian Baroque Company.
Martina Schobersberger is a lecturer at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz and from
autumn 2020 teacher for harpsichord und basso continuo at the university for catholic church
music in Regensburg.
